The Rivers State Commissioner for Health, Professor Princewill Chike, delivered a lecture on a topic: The 21st Century Nigeria Medical Graduates and The Future of Medical Practice. The guest lecturer addressed the matriculants saying, a medical graduate is a person who has completed his or her studies in the various sectors of the medical school and has passed the exams. He further said that, in terms of learning opportunities, the 21st medical graduate has better opportunities to become a mastermind in his chosen career space but not forgetting that modern literature has suddenly become transient and sublime and with unenduring almost fictional transitionality therefore, the 21st century medical graduate has to be technology-minded especially in the developing society. He must keep up with evolving technology around the practice. He has to learn new skills and new techniques at a fast pace to meet the emerging trends and dynamics.

Finally, the Registrar and Secretary to Council of PAMO University of Medical Sciences, Barr.Walter Imoedemhe, Ph.D led the students in taking the Matriculation Oath and symbolic signing of the Matriculation Register for the 2020/2021 academic session.
