A three man delegation from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) led by Prof. Uche Eze, Commissioner of Education, Enugu State visited PAMO University of Medical Sciences on Tuesday 10th July, 2018.
The delegation included Mr. Ifeanyi Ossai, Member, and Committee on establishment of New Campus, Enugu State and Leonard Khama, Registrar, Enugu State University of Science and Technology. The leader of the delegation, Prof. Uche Eze explained that the visit was to familiarize them with the mode of operation in the establishment of PUMS, the first private Medical University in Nigeria. Speaking further, he was full of praises for the Management of PUMS who he said has set the pace in medical education with its record of achievements “within such a short time of coming on board the medical train.”
The ESUT team was received by the Vice-Chancellor of PUMS, Prof. M.F.E. Diejomaoh, the Dean, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Prof. A.B. Ebeigbe, who also led the team on a guided tour of PUMS facilities and the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Francis N. Amadi.
